Time for some pictures

I discovered, not long after Menno and I got married, that both of us are not very fond of taking pictures. That became so obvious when we have around 12 pictures on our honeymoon trip. The place was beautiful, our hotel/resort was amazing... the sunshine and the beach/swimming pools were fantastic. And Menno and I so enjoyed the whole trip... the only thing is, we didnt remember to take pictures while we actually carried the camera with us pretty much the whole time.

Okay, my plan is, to have a few pictures before our children grow old and our memories fade like toilet paper flushed down the toilet...

Girls night

Dear blogger,
It is such a long time already... I nearly forgot how it feels like to finish a chick flick. You know it's cheesy but you are satisfied walking out of the theatre. So, thanks to Cintia, we girls watched "letters to Juliet" tonight.
No matter how practical a lady is, watching something romantic is always enjoyable. Same theory as your hubby watching the sports game saying how bad a certain player was, forgetting his own beer belly. I mean, it is okay.
It's okay.
But who can stand it to take mtr home while the ending of the movie was some vineyard wedding in Italy? Dude, I do hope to roll on that grassland some summer in Italy as well...
See you later, blogger.
JS... being carried away by a sweet, romantic dream

Day off

Enjoying a Monday off with Menno, after two pretty full weekend days. Time to boost up a little bit my reading speed. According to my speed now, i would not be able to finish the two books i bought a month ago...

And got a gift from the Covenant church, another book, which i definitely want to start reading soon. It's some stories about people living in TSW, their stories of faith. It must be a good one. :) looking forward to start reading.

Right now i m about to finish Heidi Baker's "Compelled by Love". My mind was blown away first started to read this book. Such a simple truth, such a hard challenge... it's really not trying to persuade you to do something with nice words, but just sharing stories of people who yield their lives to Jesus and live out this simple faith and bless many others. How can God be glorified in our lives? depends on how much we want that to happen, how much we are willing to give up our control on things.
